Nifco Korea is committed to continuously striving to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
Background
According to the recommendations of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), in order to limit the rise in global temperature to below 1.5℃, greenhouse gas emissions must be reduced by more than 45% compared to 2010 levels by 2030, and carbon neutrality must be achieved by 2050. In line with this, Korea has declared the '2050 Carbon Neutrality Declaration' and announced the '2050 Carbon Neutrality Vision'.
Definition of
Carbon Neutrality
Carbon neutrality, or 'Net-Zero,' refers to achieving zero net greenhouse gas emissions by reducing emissions from human activities and enhancing absorption.
