Environment, Safety, and Health Management

Nifco Korea recognizes that
environmental, safety, and health management based on 'Respect for Humanity and Preservation of the Environment' is a core value that underpins all business activities.

Through the establishment, operation, and continuous improvement of the environmental and safety/health management system, we aim to achieve zero accidents, create new environmental value, and realize sustainable development.

    We will consistently recognize the environmental impacts and risks throughout all business activities and make continuous efforts to develop products with minimal environmental and risk burdens.

    We will continuously review and improve environmental conservation and risk elimination activities within the scope of technical and economic feasibility.

    We will adhere to environmental and occupational health and safety regulations throughout all business activities, comply with other agreed requirements, establish internal standards when necessary, and carry out monitoring to promote environmental conservation and risk elimination efforts.

    Among the environmental impacts and risks across all business activities, we will place greater emphasis on the following key items

    1. 1. Recognize accident-free and disaster-free management as the highest priority and continuously strive for improvement.
    2. 2. Strengthen and maintain regular in-house inspections for fire accident prevention as a top priority.
    3. 3. Establish a system that ensures safety and environmental protection as the foremost priority.
    4. 4. Continuously reinforce disaster and safety management systems.
    5. 5. Strive for recycling and reduction to address the depletion of natural resources.
    1. 6. Make efforts to improve by recovering and recycling hazardous chemicals and adopting alternative technologies where possible.
    2. 7. Engage in greenhouse gas reduction activities to prevent ozone layer depletion and global warming.
    3. 8. Pursue low energy consumption and high efficiency through energy demand management.
    4. 9. Strategically expand investment in green technology development.
    5. 10. Establish and achieve continuous improvement targets for environmental and occupational health and safety performance.
    6. 11. Undertake practical efforts to conserve biodiversity.

    To realize this policy, we will set environmental and occupational health and safety goals and detailed objectives for each department, regularly review them, and make continuous efforts toward environmental conservation and risk elimination.

    Through appropriate resource allocation and continuous training, all employees will gain a thorough understanding of the environmental, safety, and health policy and proactively carry out their roles and responsibilities.
